About the Position

CT Tech / Radiology Technologist

Liberal, KS | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 3rd Shift | Expected 72 hours bi-weekly (alternating 20-hour and 52-hour weeks) | Every Wednesday & Thursday 9:30 PM – 7:30 AM; Every other weekend Friday 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM, Saturday & Sunday 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Overtime may be available on 52-hour weeks

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging procedures in a fast-paced acute care environment
Operate CT and radiography equipment safely and in accordance with facility protocols
Ensure proper patient positioning, technique selection, and image quality for all studies
Collaborate with clinical staff to prioritize and complete imaging orders efficiently during overnight and weekend shifts
Adhere to radiation safety standards and facility policies at all times

Required Qualifications

ARRT certification in Radiography required
Kansas Licensed Radiologic Technologist (KSBHA LRT) license required
AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of Radiology/CT experience required
Must have successfully completed at least 2 prior travel contracts; first-time travelers are not eligible
Must reside more than 45 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

CT certification through ARRT preferred, though hands-on CT experience may be considered in lieu of certification
Experience working overnight and weekend shifts in a hospital or acute care setting
Familiarity with high-volume or critical access imaging environments
