Monday-Friday - Hospital Coverage: 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
- Night Call: 4:00 PM-7:00 AM

Call Expectations - Telephone Call With a 30-Minute Response Requirement
- On-Call Coverage for Emergency Interventional Radiology Procedures
- Weekend Call Continues Through Monday at 7:00 AM
Patient Population / Volume - Adult Patients: 95%
- Pediatric Patients: 5%
- Average Daily Volume: Approximately 10 Cases
- Outpatients: Approximately 3 Per Day
- Inpatients: Approximately 7 Per Day
- Consultations: Approximately 2 Per Day
- Evaluations: Approximately 2 Per Day
- Interventional Radiology: 70%
- Diagnostic Radiology: 30%
- Average Admissions While On Call: 0
Clinical Responsibilities - Provide Hospital-Based Interventional Radiology Services
- Perform Community Interventional Radiology Procedures
- Evaluate and Manage Inpatient and Outpatient IR Patients
- Perform Image-Guided Diagnostic and Therapeutic Procedures
- Provide Emergency Interventional Radiology Coverage
- Respond to Overnight and Weekend Emergency Consultations
- Supervise Advanced Practice Providers Performing IR Procedures
- Provide Clinical Oversight for IR Procedures Within APP Scope of Practice
- Perform Diagnostic Radiology Interpretations Between Procedures as Needed
- Review Diagnostic Imaging Studies
- Coordinate Patient Care With Referring Physicians and Clinical Teams
- Provide Independent Interventional Radiology Coverage

Requirements - Board Certified in Interventional Radiology - Required
- Active Pennsylvania Medical License - Required to Apply
- IMLC Candidates Considered
- DEA - Required
- ACLS - Required
- BLS - Required
- Minimum 5 Years of Clinical Experience in Interventional Radiology - Required
- Must Be Proficient in Community Interventional Radiology Procedures
- Must Be Comfortable With Diagnostic Radiology Reading Responsibilities
- Must Be Comfortable Supervising Advanced Practice Providers
- Must Be Able to Work Independently as the Only Onsite Interventional Radiologist
- Must Be Comfortable Providing Emergency IR Call Coverage
- Must Be Available for Overnight and Weekend Call
- Must Be Able to Respond Within 30 Minutes When On Call
- Consistent Monday-Sunday Coverage Availability Preferred
Credentialing - Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 Days
